    > This is ludicrous. There is clearly no way that female nerdfighters could win, due to the large advantage that you have. Also, is there any point? Like, do you have a goal? Or is it this sort of infinite spiral of numbers that goes on forever. Why? I mean, as of now, I am the only female nerdfighter contributing to this feed. There are many of you, and even if I were able to comment every single to you commented, we would never actually get anywhere. And, what about nonbinary nerdfighters?

I don't know what nonbinary is supposed to do. Didn't invent this 'game'.
As for winning - before I joined females had won almost every time. Since Turtle and I though, it hasn't happened once.
The objective is to get to 2k or zero, then one side has won.
There really isn't a point to playing (anything) though, but we do anyway.

On an unrelated note I have to go find a lawyer today. I am going to purchase a house for my parents and it seems a lawyer is required to accept the contract. I feel sipo grown up with my colorshifting shirt, gereen hair and now a house.

@NeiroAtOpelCc I agree that it's the same way with most games: there really is no point. I just like to think about why we do things that seem so pointless. A lot of people say we do them "for enjoyment," and maybe they're right, but I feel like there are almost always more reasons why. Like maybe we're trying to win at life, and winning a game makes us feel one step closer to winning. (Sorry, I get like this sometimes. It's not you. I am dangerously philosophical at times).

Don't apologize for who you are. I don't either.
As for this particular pointless game - I mainly play it to stay in touch with friendly people and occasionally have chats like this. I'm about the same age as the Green brothers, but unlike them I have a more mundane job and don't really meet new interesting people as much. In short game's providing social interaction.

Side note I have a headache from bowling with collegues yesterday. Too much gin I think.

Yeah part of the appeal of this game to me is how pointless it is because as soon as we win we just restart and do it again. It feels more like stopping in to contribute than it does adding to some grand total

It's a great metaphor. Are you guys the only ones who consistently add?

There have been others over the years, but none stuck around. Possibly because it felt somewhat hopeless to be our opposition - it does take at least two dedicated souls to oppose two - the nature of the game doesn't allow for one even more dedicated to beat two lesser ones.

Hmm. Maybe I will take on another secret identity so that I will have some hope of winning this mad struggle. And I say another because I already have a bunch: Santa Claus, that tree over there, that dog for Harry Potter who I think is named Fluffy (I made an agreement with J.K. Rowling), and a human. Who knew that dogs, like me, could type?

Fluffy is Hagrid's 3 headed dog, not Harry's, but it's the correct series alright. I would imagine magical creatures, and a threeheaded dog has to be magical, can write just fine.
I mean I'm currently reading (literally sitting with the epub open on my phone now) Alex Verus, and magical creatures can do stuff. If you like Harry Potter, have a look at Alex Verus - The editing isn't entirely as good, but the story is great - and more mature than most of the potter movies.
As for identities - I hope they're just that, and not schizophrenia.
Anyway - don't cheat ; a victory just feels hollow if you do.

I know this is very controversial, but I really hate Harry Potter. Those books just bother me so much. As for identities, I, sadly, am only myself. I can pretend to be my dog, but if I really wanted to pretend to be my dog, I would basically just be typing GIVE ME YOUR FOOD over and over again. That would be very disappointing because I know that my (stupid) humor is greatly appreciated. And, as a side note, I would never cheat. Games that involve luck bother me; I could not fathom cheating.

Why so selfconcious? Seems to be a theme in this forum. I'm sure your humor isn't stupid.
Also I am curious about what makes you hate the potter books?
Ps. As for controversial : I'm not particularily impressed by lord of the rings or game of thrones - two other things people are supposed to like. I think it's fine that we don't all have the same taste.
Also another ting : Aren't you happy to be yourself? There are many worse options all things considered.

My problem with Harry Potter is that the characters don't recognize just how great their lives are. They are very privileged (and I'm not saying that I'm not; I definitely am) and it seems like they just can't stop pitying themselves. Also, like, I get that Harry's family situation isn't great, but it seems so unrealistic. I mean, what are the chances that a giant is going to come and get you to take you to wizarding school?

I have never read either of those, though I have heard people talking about them. Also, can you solve this?

Also, I very much do like being myself, but I would like to learn how to shapeshift. What are your top three things that you would shapeshift into if you could? (You only have 24 hours before you're back to not being able to shapeshift).

The is in there twice. It's a mistake to call a deliberate error a mistake. So I'd say that is the mistake. Not the word being repeated.
As for shapeshift. An air elemental first, then a hot woman and I don't have a third thing.

I get that this is one of the most active threads on this forum, but I still find it funny that a bot would decide that posting to a thread that has ~3 active members would be useful
